Hi!
I was so exited to do this bootcover techniqce!
C.Cs pants go over her boots so I have to make some adjustments to the pants-pattern. I had seen this technique on so many cosplayblogs before so I just had to try it! It really was an unique experience!
How to do it:
You wrap your leg (or the part you need) in clingfilm to protect the skin from the next step: Ducktape.
Cover everything in ducktape! This will be your pattern for making the bootcover / sock later on.
Cut of the parts by the seams you want and now you have a pattern!
The only error I made was that I cut in the front and back, where I did not want my seams, so I had to translate the patterns to another papper to make the seams go by the sides. And it turned out really good! at least for my first time!
I have to take it in some, and this was just the tester, but I think the pants wont be that hard on C.Cs costume!
